We are proud to present to you our beautiful park garden and hope to see you there as a visitor or renter of one of the garden plots, where you can grow vegetables or fruits to your own wishes.

In the park garden there is room for relaxation and social contact. Get to know your neighbours. You can play Petanque or Kubb, climb the monkey trail or enjoy the green oasis in peace and quiet.

In the garden plots you can grow vegetables and fruits. You can also use our raised garden beds.

The garden plots and beds are open for rent to local residents and OptimaT employees.

There are 36 plots of 25 m² (40 euro/year) and 17 raised garden beds of 1 m² (10 euro/year).

In the OptimaT Garden you can come and enjoy the green oasis, have fun on the monkey trail, grow your own healthy vegetables and meet the fellow tenants.

Since April 2019, the garden plots are open for tenants.

Meanwhile, there are plans for a number of initiatives to take place in the OptimaT Garden:

• An info session on compost is planned in cooperation with the environmental department of Lichtervelde. Soon more information on this subject.

• Site 181, a daytime activity at Site Vancoillie, also realised a beautiful project supported by the King Baudouin Foundation.

• “Buurten op den Buiten" will organise activities every Wednesday afternoon from May to October. Everyone is welcome to attend these activities.

Undoubtedly more activities will follow. We are open to initiatives and questions, so spread the word!
