Health and safety


  • Protect the health and safety of all employees.
  • Implement a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Educate/train managers, support staff and all target employees to ensure their ongoing commitment to their own health and safety and that of their colleagues.

Forced labour - Child labour


  • Working is a free choice.
  • Under no circumstances will OptimaT use forced or slave labour to design, manufacture or assemble products and services.
  • OptimaT shall not employ children in violation of the International Labour Organisation convention.
  • OptimaT shall immediately contact the supplier and/or the customer and shall demand corrective measures if a breach of these rules is identified in the Supply Chain.

Freedom of association - discrimination


  • OptimaT recognises and respects the freedom of its employees in their choice of legal representatives, the establishment of trade unions and associations and membership thereof.
  • Trade union membership shall not be a reason for dismissal or prejudice towards the employee.
  • OptimaT respects the right of its employees to be represented by trade unions or other employee organisations.
  • OptimaT will treat its employees equally in employment and occupation and will ensure that everyone has equivalent positions.
  • OptimaT does not tolerate discrimination on the grounds of race, colour, gender, age, language, religion, political opinion, country of origin or social origin or other status. Equal pay for equal work performed at the same level.


Environment


  • Comply with legal and environmental requirements and regulations.
  • Support and contribute to the development, production and delivery of products and services with the lowest possible ecological footprint.
  • Educate and train employees to use environmentally friendly materials, processes, measures and products, avoid waste, use recyclable materials where possible, use energy-saving means and transport methods.

Ethics


  • Business integrity: all forms of corruption, extortion and embezzlement are strictly forbidden.
  • No improper benefits: bribes or other means of obtaining excessive and improper benefits are neither offered nor accepted.
  • Disclosure of information: information relating to business activities, structure, financial situation and performance must be disclosed in accordance with applicable regulations and common industry practices.
  • Intellectual property: intellectual rights must be respected. Technology and knowledge transfer must be done in a way that protects intellectual property rights.
  • Fair trade, advertising and competition: standards of fair trade, advertising and competition must be enforced.
  • Identity protection: Programs to ensure confidentiality and protection of the supplier and the employee-whistleblower must be enforced.
