Skillscan: new VR tool for objective talent assessment for employees with special needs

Together with POM West Flanders, 4Werk and six other enterprises, OptimaT has recently been working on the development of Skillscan, a new VR tool created with the support of EFRO Flanders.

With Skillscan, candidates are immersed in realistic situations. Via realistic VR simulations, they perform a variety of tasks, which are assessed in terms of their speed, precision and ability to perform under pressure. The focus is on doing and experiencing. This makes Skillscan particularly suitable for workers with special needs, whose competencies are not always fully visible through traditional selection or testing methods.

This tool gives us a much more complete picture of a person's potential. This helps us to work in an even more talent-oriented way and at the same time ensures a more uniform and objective basis for our assessments. A big step forward in the customised employment sector!
